PRODUCTION: The Animaticus Foundation is more than just a cool place on the Web. Animaticus boasts an active production studio that brings together some of the finest talents available. Animaticus represents a strong team of master-animators, emergent students, professional artists and designers who all wish to take traditional animation into entirely new areas of imagination and accomplishment. With an independent spirit and a passion to travel beyond the well-worn path of traditional cartoon solutions, the Animaticus team is prepared to take-on any production that offers a challenge to their inventiveness. Essentially the originator of its own home-grown projects, the Animaticus studio is capable of handling just about any project presented to it... as long as freedom of exression and originality of concept is required. Animaticus projects will always be innovative, accomplished and ever seeking to take animation into previously unexplored areas.   Current Project ~ 'Fire Gods': . The first production that the Animaticus team has undertaken is the short, animated documentary film, 'Fire Gods', which tells the story of glass and glassmaking using 2D, 3D, Cut-out and Flash animation techniques. The film... essentially a 'labor of love' for all concerned... has been created for the Museum of Glass in Tacoma. Future Projects: . As with the original Disney studio under the leadership of Walt, the longer-term strategy of the Animaticus Studio is to build-up slowly... taking on small scale productions initially, then growing towards longer and more ambitious projects as time goes by. The process of acquiring traditional skills while gaining production experience on 'real' projects is a slow and exacting one. Therefore the studio will be extremely selective in the kind of projects and clients they take on. Meanwhile, home-grown Animaticus project development will continue in the background, awaiting the day when a fully-trained team will be ready to tackle the most demanding of all projects... the full length, cinematic movie.  Clients: .
