'2D OR NOT 2D Animation Festival: The Animaticus Foundation is proud to host its fourth annual '2D OR NOT 2D Animation Festival' at the Eames Imax Theater in the Pacific Science Center, Seattle on Saturday, 5th December, 2009. With entries for the "Golden Pencil Awards" competition up by over 50% on the festival's record year this promises to be a year to be all other years! Director Tomm Moore will be flying over from Ireland with Art Director Ross Stewart to present the Seattle preview of their outstanding, multi award-winning animated movie, "Secret of Kells". (Definitely not to be missed!) Other events for the day include a screening of Nina Paley's amazing one-woman creation, "Sita Sings the Blues" and a whole host of amazing short films that will both delight and entertain all those who want to see new and innovative animation.
